Five years ago, I made a bet on real estate, and on the people I would get to work with in it. That bet has paid off in a way I could not have expected, not because of the numbers, though I am proud of those, but because of the calls I still get from buyers who are now in their second home and wanted me to help them get there.

First-time buyers are where I spend most of my time, and that is not an accident. There is a specific kind of trust that gets built when someone lets you walk them through the biggest financial decision of their life. They are coming in with questions they are embarrassed to ask, fears they have not named yet, and a process they cannot fully picture. My job is to make all of that feel manageable before we ever write an offer.

I cover seven counties across West Michigan, Branch, Lake, Mason, Muskegon, Newaygo, Oceana, and Ottawa. Muskegon County is home base, and it is a market I know at a granular level. I know which neighborhoods are moving, which ones are not, and which ones are worth a second look that most buyers would scroll past.
